Drawing on her ongoing research and practice, Sahra offers vocality, "the being of voice", as a form of contemplative art to the Tibet House community. Within this session, participants are invited — as both individuals and as a group — to cultivate presence and creativity through both vocalization in its many forms and also through listening. This VOICE/S session includes an introduction, contemplative prompts, the experiential practice, and a closing. No prior experience with voicework is required; attendees are encouraged to bring a notebook or sketchbook.

Since 2018, Sahra developed & shared iterations of VOICE/S in various artist-run and institutional spaces, including the Aspen Art Museum, The Chinati Foundation, Earth Gallery, Harvard Radcliffe Institute, Open Eye Theatre, at Louis Place with the American Academy of Arts and Letters, the Whitney Museum of American Art, the Academy of Fine Arts Nuremberg, Princeton University, and Rutgers University.

VOICE/S is offered for educational and artistic purposes only and does not constitute medical advice or psychotherapy, or clinical care.
