Mondays through Fridays: please join us for 45-minute/1 hour meditation sessions led by meditation teachers Annie Bien, Tony Pham and Nick Shopa.
The sessions are non-denominational and will focus on the basics: meditation to quiet the mind, to focus the quiet mind, using the focused mind for analysis, and using the focused mind to create and uphold a positive vision of and outlook on the world. Other more specific uses of meditation may be discussed however the class is meant for all, beginners and those with a regular practice.-

In Person and Online Meditation with Nick Shopa

Join us Mondays for 45-minute meditation sessions led by Nicholas (Nick) Shopa, a NYC-based meditation teacher and musician certified through Tibet House US and Dharma Moon. His calm, grounded approach supports mindfulness practice for highly sensitive people and empaths. Open to all, the sessions focus on quieting the mind and cultivating positivity.

In Person and Online Meditation with Annie Bien

Annie Bien leads Buddha Dharma classes focused on Shantideva’s, Bodhicaryāvatāra, The Way of the Bodhisattva, to cultivate a contemplative approach to living a happy life through recognizing and reducing negative emotions. Classes consist of short meditations for body relaxation, calming the mind, a Qigong interval to vitalize the body, verse analysis, and tonglen.

In Person and Online Meditation with Tony Pham (Butterfly)
Nick Shopa will substitute for the following days:

Butterfly (Tony Pham) – As a student of Lama Rod Owens and certified teacher of Compassion Cultivation Training, they facilitate meditation sessions that combine mindful awareness, shamatha (peaceful abiding) and compassionate grounding. The meditations open with teachings on practice in daily life, followed by guided instruction with progressively longer pauses, and conclude with a dedication of merit towards the liberation of all beings.
