Tibetan Antique style Bone Mala: Orange

Tibetan Antique Style Yak Bone Orange Mala from Modern Tibet is a hand-carved mala approximately 30 years old and was crafted by Tibetan artisans. It features 8mm and 108 flat-shaped beads and includes the following:
* Two counters (made of silver and white metal mixed, Bell & Vajra)
* Three green jade gemstone spacers
* Six shell bead spacers

Bone malas are prayers beads, traditionally used in Tibetan Buddhism to count mantras and focus meditation, symbolizing impermanence and the transformation of mind.  Made from various animal bones, they carry a deep meaning of mortality, serving as a reminder to live mindfully. They are used in spiritual practices, often associated with wrathful deities, to purify the mind and overcome obstacles.
