Silver Vajra Thunderbolt Pendant 1.25"
In Sanskrit, Vajra translates to both "thunderbolt" (irresistible force) and "diamond" (indestructible substance). In Tibetan traditions, it is known as the Dorje.
Symbolizes the sudden, cutting breakthrough of spiritual enlightenment that destroys ignorance, illusion (maya), and emotional afflictions without itself ever being harm. Represents primordial unity, emptiness (Śūnyatā), and the open potential of the cosmos from which all form manifests.
The symmetrical lotus bases and surrounding claws represent the transformation of poison emotions (greed, anger, ignorance, pride, jealousy) into transcendent wisdoms. In Tantric rituals, the Dorje represents active compassion, skillful means (upāya), and the masculine aspect of enlightenment, traditionally balanced with the bell (Drilbu), representing feminine wisdom.
