The Magic of Awareness by Anam Thubten (Author), Sharon Roe (Editor)
Collections: Books
Weight: 7.6 oz
In this insightful book, Tibetan Buddhist teacher Anam Thubten offers practical guidance on how to maintain a state of awareness in our daily lives. He explains that enlightenment isn’t something distant or difficult to attain—it’s available to us at any moment when we are fully present and aware.
Anam Thubten explores the paradox of awareness, a state that transcends all dualities—it's neither good nor bad, neither pleasant nor unpleasant. This pure consciousness is always within our reach, no matter where we are or what we’re doing. By simply paying attention and settling into this inner stillness, we can experience profound peace and insight, seeing through the illusions that often cloud our minds.
This book teaches that whenever we feel lost or deluded, we can use that very moment as an opportunity to practice residing in the liberated mind, the perfect sphere of the Buddha mind. In doing so, we discover the true essence of what we’ve been seeking all along.
